Verify Mechanic Identity
Always confirm that the mechanic arriving matches their profile photo and name on the Mecklink app. Ask for their "Mecklink ID" or service code upon arrival.
If the person looks different or cannot provide ID, do not allow them to touch your vehicle.
Pay Through the App
For your protection, handle all payments directly through the Mecklink platform. This ensures you have a record of the transaction.
Avoid cash payments. Payments made outside the app are not covered by our satisfaction guarantee.
Public Locations
When requesting a mobile mechanic, try to choose a safe, well-lit, or public location if possible. Avoid secluded areas, especially at night.
Report Suspicious Activity
If any interaction feels unsafe or unprofessional, report it immediately via the "Support" tab in the app. Our trust & safety team reviews every report.
